Yes, Hirers can reduce their Accident Excess.
Accidents can happen to even the most careful drivers. Whilst the vehicle is in the hirer's care they are responsible for any damage, this includes damage caused by events they can’t control, such as hailstorms, or the vehicle being hit while parked.
Before the start of the trip, hirers have the option to decrease the excess required to pay out in the event of damage.
Bookings are automatically allocated the Standard Accident Excess Reduction (AER) package, which has an excess of between $500-$3,500 per incident depending on the type of RV and holiday. Hirers then have the option to upgrade to either Silver or Gold which can reduce their Accident Excess down to as low as $250 per incident.
