How do reviews work?

Once a booking is completed, both owners and hirers will receive notifications via SMS, in-app notifications, and email, prompting them to leave a review. Reviews may include comments on:

  • Communication

  • Punctuality

  • Cleanliness

  • Overall experience

Reviews are published 14 days after the booking ends and cannot be updated once published. The hirer’s review of you and your RV will appear publicly on your listing, helping other potential hirers make informed decisions.

Many owners choose to privately ask hirers for feedback and encourage them to post a positive review to boost future bookings.

Reviews from hirers are displayed publicly on your RV listing. These reviews help future hirers assess the quality of your RV and your service as an owner, building trust and increasing the likelihood of bookings.




What are some tips for achieving a 5-star review?

Providing an exceptional experience throughout the booking process can lead to glowing reviews. Try the following tips:

  1. Respond promptly to messages
    Quick communication builds trust and ensures a smooth process.

  2. Ensure the van is clean, well-stocked, and ready to go
    A clean and well-prepared RV sets a great first impression.

  3. Be accommodating
    Flexibility with pick-up and drop-off times can make a big difference.

  4. Be polite, friendly, and helpful during the handover
    A welcoming attitude leaves a lasting impression.

  5. Offer local travel tips and knowledge where possible
    Sharing insights on local attractions or hidden gems can enhance the hirer’s experience.

  6. Add thoughtful touches
    Small gestures, like a welcome note or a stocked fridge, can stand out.

  7. Request a review
    Politely ask the hirer to leave a review after the booking.

Can I dispute a review?

Camplify adheres to ACCC guidelines, which means reviews cannot be edited unless:

  • There is written agreement from both parties to make changes.

  • The review breaches Camplify’s community guidelines, terms, and/or policies.

Reviews are designed to reflect honest opinions and provide a balanced perspective of the booking experience. Disputes cannot be raised solely because a user disagrees with the content of a review.




Under what circumstances can a review be removed or amended?

A review may only be removed or amended in the following cases:

  • Written agreement from both the owner and the hirer that the review contains inaccurate information.

  • Evidence that the review breaches Camplify’s community guidelines, terms, and/or policies.

Can reviews be transferred between listings or accounts?

No, reviews are non-transferable. A review reflects the RV and the owner of that account at the time of the booking. If the RV is sold or transferred, the review cannot be moved to another account or listing.
