Noticeboard
The Noticeboard gives Camplify owners another way to connect with hirers who are actively looking for a vehicle for their trip.
If a hirer’s original booking request can’t be accepted, they can choose to share their request with other Camplify owners. Their trip will then appear on the Noticeboard, giving you the opportunity to get in touch if your van is available and could be a good match.
The Noticeboard displays trip requests from hirers who are still looking for a suitable
campervan or motorhome after their original booking request couldn’t be fulfilled.
The hirer chooses whether they want to share their request. If they do, other Camplify
owners can view key details about the trip and respond if they have a suitable vehicle available.
You can access it from the Bookings section of your Camplify account.
Select Browse noticeboard to view the available requests.
From there, you can browse requests and decide whether your van and availability could be a good match.

What information can I see about a hirer's request?
Each request currently displays key information to help you decide whether you could fulfil the trip, including:
-
Vehicle type
-
Travel dates
-
Location of the vehicle the hirer originally requested
-
Number of guests
-
Driver age
-
When the request expires
The location shown is where the vehicle the hirer originally requested was located. It
does not necessarily represent where the hirer lives or their preferred collection location.
How do I respond to a request?
If you find a trip that works for your van, select Respond.
A window titled “Respond to this request” will open. From here you can:
1. Choose your van
If you have more than one vehicle listed on Camplify, select the van you want to put
forward.
2. Write a message
Introduce your van and explain why it could be a good fit for their trip.
3.Select "Send Message"
This will start a pre-booking conversation with the hirer through Camplify Messages.
Selecting your van and writing a message to the hirer, before sending your response.
What should I include in my message to the hirer?
Use your first message as an opportunity to introduce your van and give the hirer a reason to take a closer look.
You could mention:
-
Why your van would suit their trip
-
Where your vehicle is located
-
Sleeping capacity
-
Standout features
-
Collection arrangements
-
Useful facilities or optional extras
Try to make your message personal to the trip rather than simply saying “My van is available.”
Other owners may also be able to respond to the same request, so a helpful introduction can help your vehicle stand out.
What happens after I send my message?
Once you respond, a conversation will open with the hirer in Camplify Messages.
You can use the conversation to introduce yourself, answer questions and discuss whether your van is suitable for their plans.
If you want to progress the conversation into a potential booking, select Send Booking from the top of the message screen.
How do I send a booking to the hirer?
Selecting Send Booking opens a panel where you can review and complete the booking details.
The current flow allows you to review:
-
Your selected vehicle
-
Dates
-
Hire type
-
Optional extras
-
Number of guests
Once the details are correct, select Submit.
The booking will then appear within your conversation with the hirer.

What does the hirer receive?
The booking appears directly within the Camplify conversation.
The hirer will see the vehicle image and basic trip details, along with a Complete booking request button.
They can then review the booking and decide whether they want to proceed.
The offer appears in the conversation for the hirer to review and complete. (Contact name and message blurred for privacy.)
Does responding guarantee me the booking?
No.
Responding simply starts a conversation with the hirer and gives you an opportunity to put your van forward.
Other suitable owners may also respond, and the hirer can decide which vehicle is the best fit for their trip.
Does sending a booking mean it's confirmed ?
No.
Sending a booking through the conversation gives the hirer the opportunity to review and continue with your vehicle.
The booking will still need to progress through the usual Camplify booking, approval and payment process before it is fully confirmed.
Can other owners respond to the same request?
Yes.
Requests on the Noticeboard can be visible to other suitable Camplify owners.
If you see a trip that works particularly well for your van and availability, we'd recommend responding promptly.
Do hirers have to share their request?
No.
When their original booking request can't be fulfilled, the hirer is given the option to Share my request.
Their trip will only be made available through this feature if they choose to share it.
How long will a request stay on the Noticeboard?
Each request shows an expiry date. If you're interested in a request, make sure you respond before it expires.
Why should I check the Noticeboard?
The Noticeboard gives you another way to find potential bookings rather than relying solely on hirers discovering your listing themselves.
The hirers appearing here have already been actively looking for a Camplify vehicle and
have dates in mind.
It's particularly worth checking if you:
- Have availability you'd like to fill
- Have gaps between bookings
- Have recently had a cancellation
- Want to generate more bookings
What if a request isn't suitable for my van?
There's no need to respond. Focus on requests where your vehicle, location and availability genuinely work for the hirer's trip, and check back for new requests in the future
