Is Camplify a rental vehicle company?

No. Camplify is a peer-to-peer marketplace, not a traditional rental vehicle company. This means that vehicles listed on Camplify are privately owned by individual owners — not a fleet owned by Camplify.


Will my travel insurance cover a Camplify hire?

Most travel insurance providers do recognise peer-to-peer RV hire platforms and include coverage for these types of bookings, but this varies between insurers and policies.


We strongly recommend contacting your travel insurance provider directly before or at the time of booking to confirm:

  • Whether your policy covers peer-to-peer hire vehicles
  • What documentation they may require
  • Any exclusions that apply

  Tip:  Having travel insurance is strongly recommended for all Camplify hirers. It can cover trip cancellation, travel disruption, and other unexpected events that fall outside Camplify's standard cancellation policy.


What cover does Camplify provide?
